hey just because the man show gives an idea for a funny user name means nothing

i just stated my opinion, not here to battle it out and im sure i am a true honda owner because the s2k was a great car, and my family has only owned european cars, oh and i own an italian bike, guess i am a jap freak....

and yes porsche specifically designed the cayman for the true car enthusiast, is that what you wanted to hear?? guess the cayman is more of a thrill than the RS, oh well

ill stick to my poor man's, non-enthusiast, boxster with no psm or traction control while i'm in still in medschool, thank ya

Well I thank You for being a little more Civilized .Dont get me wrong though I came ever so close to Getting the Pumpkin Boxster(SE) I really like that color. My only knock on the S-2000 is that I could not even Fit into the car I am just shy of 6'3" and It Just felt kinda CVCC (Side panels and dash) So maybe Just not the car for me ,My son in Law has one and Loves It and YES its rock solid In resale Value and Reliability.EASYC If Porsche makes a Cayman Gt in the Future the I would remove the GT from my car for sure. KEN the CC owner will be glad to hear he has been called a Moron by 6speed.. nice

My $.02.

Badge what you have.

Boxsters and/or Caymans are not entry level cars. Love my Boxster more than I loved my TT. (Old news for you that have been on this forum for awhile.)

Most car guys are very passionate about their own cars. Be tolerant of a guy that loves his iron. He'll probably defend it to the grave.

Hondas are great cars. (Got market share?)

Not everyone can articulate themselves as well as others. Be tolerant of them as well.

Don't be an a$$hole on this forum. This is supposed to be fun.

I have been following this thread, and went back and read several pages of the original. This is funny, and I don't know if I missed it, but did CaymanGT ever take delivery of this super machine? He actually picked a screen name prior to even purchasing one??? Also From the prior posts, I figured him to be an 18 year old rich brat, taking his highschool graduation money mummy and daddy gave him , and threw it down on his purchase. Then I read his "son-in-law" ownes an S-2000? So he is and old bastard with the personality of an 18 year old. Problem is we keeping egging him on, and children need attention. Ignore him and he will stop...psychology 101.

Watch out Ray, he'll put you through a wall. hahahahahahahahahahahahahahahaha...oh jeez..I just pissed myself, guess I'm getting old too, need my DEPENDS diapers.

Oh and My Dad does not talk to me very much he is upset that I bought the Porsche.I still have $15k . Thinking Of going to Vegas again and taking 10K only .So Dad hates me ,Girlfriend wants to leave me,My Dog Bit me in the Nose last weekend ( rottweiller) . so I am heading to that point of ..Road Trip and F them all. Dude get your head straight and do not blow your wad. You can do a hell of a lot more if you sold the car and concentrated on making your own business suspenseful instead of blowing it like a kid in a candy store. In short work now play later. You have or had the capital to open a small business and do something great now sell the car, f%ck Vegas and put your nose to the grind stone.

You sound exactly like the kind of driver I don't want to be anywhere near on a track.

Well I think Cayman GT's last post sums it all up. He is not the typical Porsche (do I say Owner, still dont know) Fanatic. In my opinion, blowing your family's lifelong savings from a business, in Vegas and a car is ridiculous. I would have used another word, but I feel your sob story has touched the hearts of many, and I run the risk of turning the mad crowd against me. Hold onto the money, because it seems you dont have a job now, due to the sale of the family business. Unless you have stayed on with the new owners, and drive your Cayman to the carwash, and still are drying and armoralling everyone elses car. last post for me as this thread has become like a bad fictional paperback book that I cant believe I've wasted time reading.

I wont Sell the car I just bought..You sound like my DAD!. However I was thinking Of opening a Detail Business ,Recruting a Window Tinter and Stereo Install to pay the overhead . I will tell you I am the BEST car Detailer you ever seen . I started at 16 working at the Docks In San Pedro Ca Cleaning Cosmoline off the Jap Import cars comming in.Bastards had me wearing an ACID suit working sometimes a full 24 hour shift for Pennies.I have worked my whole life for this car. Dad slaved me for 17 years after that.He will get over it .75K is nothing He got a home on Vintage Golf Course In Palm Desert Just under 4 Mill. He said he only gave me 75K cause he knew I would blow it .

Hmm.

This has gone from bad to sad.
I came into some money from a family buisness when I was 22. 100k For a 22yo kid thats alot of change. I bought the car and had a great time for a few years. I was 22 NOT 36. If someone GAVE me 100k cash right now a new car would be the last thing on my mind. Maybe pay down the house....invest it in something safe. But not buy a car and go to Vegas.

CaymanGT its your money do as you wish but come on do you really think its smart to blow this money like you are.

What are your plans for next year?? Washing cars? Opening your own buisness? Professional poker player.

I am just about done with this.
