Track rims and tire pressure monitors?

Do I need to buy new TPMS sensors for my track rim/tire setup? If so where can I get them from?

You can get them from Tire Rack or dealer. I've seen a set or two for sale here or on caymanclub.net. If you don't install them you'll get the warning light. I wouldn't use them on the track wheels since I monitor my tire pressures consistently during track days.

Some aftermkt wheels are designed to use the factory sensors and others require adaptors - check w/ wheel mfg. Sensors run about $100 ea.

Yes, I paid a little over $400 including freight and valve stems from Jim @ Tirerack and got them in two days

Does the warning light comes and blink on all the time if you don't have the sensors?
