Zaitster

Good advise Zaitster . FYI I paid a lot more for my Remus when it first came out .The group buy is an AWSOME price .Had It installed By MAX RPM a sponser on this site If you live in that area (Bremerton WA) I highly reccomend them .Alex Really knows his stuff and is a long time PCA member and his staff makes Great Hamburgers at their TECH sessions to boot..

Guys if there's enough interest I'll see what I can do. They're not easy to come by that's for sure and I have had issues getting them in a reasonable time before Drop me an Email to alex@sharkwerks.com and I'll conjure something up...

Well, this is a bumb deal. I sent an e-mail to SW yesterday and even called and spoke to someone there (I will leave his name out). I was quoted $1760 + 70 for freight and told there wer no discounts. I tried, and moved on.

Hi P-dub, I believe you spoke to Dan (?) but we don't set the price (Remus and the Euro does) but please let me know if you find something that costs less that sounds/fits like that because I'd be happy to offer it. It's made in Europe (not in the far east). Having said that there's the Tubi which is more in the 2400 range so considering that you also get tips with this I do feel it's a good option to offer and at a decent price too. The other major issue we have is actually keeping the thing in stock and getting them. It's not easy Right now I can't even get more than two systems for the next 3-4 weeks so the possibility of a group buy doesn't seem likely

On the Borlas, I just don't sell them (yet) as I don't have any experience with them on our car so I'd not want to sell you something without knowing all the pros/cons of the system. Being made in the US (I assume?) means that it's also likely cheaper but until I have one running on my car and it passes mustard I'm not comfortable selling it, especially out of state to someone who isn't local.

Finally just to re-iterate, on cabs (aka Boxsters) it does have more drone/resonance than on the Cayman. Just an FYI.

Got it and will respond... I'm talking to the Remus guys tomorrow so I'll see what/if they say about the idea. Right now just trying to get them in stock is hard enough

Thanks for the invite and offer, that would be a nice drive with the kind of weather we have going on right now. Top down, sun burn, ooh yeah. Anyway, I did go ahead and move in a different direction Monday, but I do appreciate the offer.
