Well There you have it .. Trying to get a cheap lease on a Porsche cayman is a clear sign .. Just go buy a honda or acura .. If you cant pay DONT PLAY . If you cannott afford the Purchase then Get Real and Quit Dreaming .This is NOT a car for a bargain shopper ..

I'd suggest buying one (like mine!) over leasing. Seriously, rates are cheap now and I got 3.5% from Navy Federal Credit Union; Pentagon Federal Credit Union has great rates as well and I think you can join for a small fee.

I am contemplating buying vs leasing but this will be my everyday car so thats why I was leaning towards leasing. I dont really like buying my everyday car as they usually end up pretty beat up with all the great drivers down here.
Porschepet--I dont see why getting a good deal on a lease is a bad thing, but hey dealers love dip ****s like yourself that dont shop around.

No reason to get so defensive ok.(Dip****) I am just saying If you lease a car you cannot enjoy the Full Porsche Ownership . YOU Cannott MOD The car?? Miles Restrictions??? If you go OVER its really Exspensive . If You scratch it or it needs tires YOU have to pay $$ .Insurance is Higher. LEASING SUCKS.. Might as well call it Renting because a Money factor is based off a monthly rental fee .

Sorry about that but you are insinuating I can not afford something without even knowing me but on another note I only plan on changing the wheels and suspension no crazy mods. I know its not the same to own and rent but for my everyday car I rather not own it so I dont have to worry so much about the car. I would not be able to enjoy a car I own on a daily basis as I would be worried about all those scratches, dings, etc. where on a lease I dont care much...
Regardless I am not looking for a steal just looking for the best deal.

The collection has a deal for a base Cayman 10,000 miles/yr, $3000 down, 599/mon but basically no options so it is an ok deal it seems

699.00 X 3 years(Assuming that tax is Included) + 3K down is $28,200 for 3 Years Limited to 10K Miles a year and you will have to return the car with the original Suspension and Wheels (How much will those 2 mods cost?) There is a 07 Cayman in my area on autotrader (98332) for 43K with 6 K Miles on it .with 3K down Plus tax and Lic 7 year term 5.9% = 582.00 a month .. Drive the Heck out of it and mod it to death and have more fun and YOU OWN IT.heck you would probally have Equity .Just my 2 cents and sorry for assuming you could not afford the Cayman you are right .I do not know you

Unless you can write it off as part of a business, or someone other way, you are probably best buying it - I crunched the #s when I was looking and bought it (I am an accountant). But everyone's situation is different so my advice is crunch the #s based on how long you think you will own it, how much cash you have, etc.
