I enjoyed my Boxster S than my 02 996 Turbo..No question about it...Of course the TT had much more hp and power but I found it numb in comparison to the Box..

I'm on my second one..can't let it go...until I get the next one that is..

Simply put... The Boxster is more funner. Very very few cars can match it's smiles per mile at any price. Add a good set of tires and a little driving skill and you can run with the big dogs at the track too.

Maannn.....you guys make me want to cry like a little girl. I'm glad to see that there are soo many of us out there that really love these little ragtops. I'm amazed at how many of you, like me also owned the 996TT and got rid of it in favor of the Boxster.

With regard to the list of Nordschlieffe Supercars and Exotics costing 4 - 15 times that of our beloved Boxsters and Caymans. They better damn well be faster at that price! As I'm driving my Boxster rain or shine tomorrow, I'll think of those garage princess exotics waiting for a clear, warm day to be driven. God forbid should you get a fain drop on a 430!

I was in CT in the beggining of oct. the day i came home, in the pouring rain mind you, i saw a nice black f430 out! i wa shocked that it would be out with the downpour like it was at the time, but I was glad to see someone enjoying it.

Dave,

nope, you're not going crazy and you're definitely not the only one. I went from a 996Turbo to an E60M5 to a 997C2S to a Cayman S. Wouldn't trade it for any of the previous cars. Absolutely love the driving pleasure of the Cayman S, especially after the recent 'bump' in power.

I would LOVE to own a boxter at the same time.

notquitefob

But On a nice sunny day an RS60 would be a tough choice even for us cayman Owners to pass on .I would also enjoy owning the Orange Limited Edition boxster (the Pumpkin) .Boxster owners sure smile a lot when we cross paths that must say something about the car .
