Reading up on the past threads, hope your still enjoyting the car, it's a classy car.
I have the opportunity to pic one up it doesnt have nav or sport chrono, the asking price is $59,000. it's a $71,000 car, how was your deal compared to this?

There was a deal at a local porsche dealer here that had about the same amount off of MSRP. Its an awesomely detailed car for the $. Only wish they made a cayman version!

I almost bought similar. I am a previous Cayman owner and wasnt sure I would dig a convertible. I got a 996 tt instead.

Have a dealer here offering me $21,000 off a 2009 carrera, good deal?

Call me crazy but i love the feeling of a balanced mid engine car... I was in the market for an older porsche and was going in between a 911 sc or a 914 that i could tweak... bought the 914 and never looked back. Drive both cars back to back and leave the "deal" out of consideration and buy the car you like the most... might save you money in the long run.
