You can get rid of that by lowering the vehicle and dialing in some camber.

There are a lot of guys running widebody 997 wheels on narrow body 997 applications and it looks kinda odd until the vehicle is lowered.

I must be missing something here. Why not just remove the spacers?

You have to be careful with the spacing on the inside in regards to the shock positioning.

Would a 10mm spacer work? That would look a bit better. Would a 5mm spacer work? Or even a 10mm? that would bring them in, then you could lower it if it's an option.

I will ask the dealer tomorrow if they can take a look and see if the spacer can be removed, I don't think they can as I don;t have room enough , I don't want to lower the car.. the wheels don;t look that bad at all, but I will prefered to have them inside the fenders...

you can't remove the spacers, it'll hit the shocks. that is why it is not recommended for caymans to run 997 offset wheels. there's no "good" setup because the spacers required to make it "Fit" simply don't exist. if I were you I'd start looking for something in the cayman offset.

doesn't make sense to buy one of the most well balanced, great handling cars, and screw with its drivability. just my 0.02.

I ask the seller for a refund because even with the 15mm spacers the tire is rubbing my shock, but apparently he is not willing to do a refund stating that its my fault as I should it know beforw buying, when he stated that there was no rubbing at all and they fit properly on the cayman, now hes saying that just because I don;t like the look of the wheels.. and because I didn't mentioned my cayman was a cs

NO NO NO 997 wheels do fit!!! 18 x 10 (15mm spacer) fit. 19 x 11 do not fit. Its not the off set. YOU can't run 11,s 10 is the widest. I use 18 x8 and 18 x 10 997 wheels on my boxster

This is from http://www.wheeldynamics.net/appguide.html
986 987
Can use most wheels from the 996 with spacers in the rear. 40mm-65mm et front and 40-50mm et rear (Stock 18x10 is 47mm) the 18x10et 65mm 996 wheel will require a 15mm spacer to clear the shock.
Most extreme is the Techart 18x10.5 et 42mm wheel for the rear. Use zip ties for the parking brake cable. 285/30/18 tire is about the largest you can use.
Can use 19' from 987
Most extreme fit 20x9 et50mm and 20x10 et 60mm(15mm spacer) with 245/30/20 and 285/20/20
20x9et 50mm and 20x10et 60mm below
