Satellite Radio
I have a new 2008 Boxster S and would like to add either XM or Sirius satellite radio to it.
I have the stantard CDR 24 radio in my car. I would like to have something that is integrated into the current system. Your thoughts and suggestions are appreciated.

Flexstar I just did this in my 2008 Cayman and my 2006 Cayenne turbo. I used an XM express RC unit and the sure connect kit. I just tapped into the 12 volt switch power on the radio. I used a antenna connector for a european car to interface with the stock radio and the sure connect. Then I just ran the antenna to the passanger side of the cabin and left the small XM antenna on inside near the a piller. once I put the radio back in I just ran connections to the driver side and used a small suction cup mount from bestbuy to mount the XM unit. Best part is I can move it from Porsche to Porsche and home with no issues. Install takes about 1 hour to hour and 1/2. Bestbuy will also install for 179.00 plus the xm unit. I had doubts on the sound quality but it sounds great! I have also seen people mount a small unit under the AC controlls but then you lose the shelf.
