Cayman All Red Tail Lights
  • I'm thinking about purchasing the red tail lights, but wanted to explore another option vs. spending $400.
  • Has anyone used a red clearcoat spray to color the clear portion of the tail light red? Same as using the smoke color but using red instead.

I thin your best bet is to use red laminex, the PO of my car used spray and when I had the car detailed it started to come off

here you can see the decoloration

Thanks for the feedback and picture. I know preparing the surface is key to keeping it to stay on, and I saw where someone sanded and used alcohol to prep the area.
