TPC Racing is Teaching an Old Dog NEW TRICKS! 986S w/120k miles going TURBO!

Recently we got in a local 986S Tip that is in immaculate condition. Odometer reads just over 120k miles, but you would never know it. The one owner car has been well looked after its entire life and all of the miles were long highway miles. Note, the engine runs like new and it is the original.

Rather than looking for a new car the owner decided it was time to teach the car some new tricks... With our ATP:L(non-intercooled turbo system).

Car put down ~200whp on our dyno as a baseline.

Here are some pictures as we began stripping the car.

Now with some parts!

I will continue updating this thread as we make progress.

Very cool! Can't wait to see how this progresses. Are you going to be keeping the Tip?

You might have to make my car the next 986-T!

Are the rears tires on the boxster reversed, i.e.,left on right and vice versa? The treads seem to be going the wrong way.

Does the install require the retention of headers with integrated cats (stock on MY 2000 -on)? Is it CARB legal?

We have recently made an option that includes catalyzed manifolds you can either use the factory ones off of a 987S or you can use the new option that we are about to release. The system is being run in california but we doubt it would pass smog(visual). the sniffer and light will be perfect.

Here are 2 pictures of the car bolted back together, ready to be delivered. I have some video i will be cutting together soon.
