Highest Turbo or Supercharger output for 2.5

What is highest output turbo or supercharger for 2.5 liter motor? I'm trying to decide if I stay with Porsche motor or just bite the bullet and do a Subi STi conversion.

I need highest output forced induction 2.5 liter motor I can find that will be reasonable cost for SCCA AX classing purposes.

It seems like most turbo or supercharged 2.5 liter motors are fairly low output. I need something over 300 HP.

I think The TPC TURBO stage 1 should add in the range of 100 hp and the stage 2 150 HP to your current HP Rating give or take a few hp either way.You can call Casey at TPC or just PM him here on this site ,he is 99% of the time right on it

I dont think TPC is interested in lower dollar cars like mine. No response from them to date. Do you know of anyone else building kits for us mortals who want to spend $5 to $7 k on a budget kit focused on racing?

I want to highlight someones kit. My co-driver and I are capable of giving excellent visibility to someone who is interested in giving us a little price break as my car is capable of placing well in national level events. I'm traveling to national AX championships and attending national tour events as well.

I just dont know who is making turbos for 2.5 yet. Any others than TPC. I will post install and post results of company willing to help me out. I also attend hillclimb events and hold a record time at premier event in Northern California.

don't know about a turbo for the 2.5l, but as porschepet indicated, tpc does manufacture turbo systems for porsches. in fact, as i type this, a tpc low pressure turbo system is being installed on my 2.7l cayman.

visit their website and you'll see that the low pressure turbo system is priced just north of $7k (i purchased my kit last month while they had a special going, which brought the price below $7k).

Grant,
Have you talked to the guys at Sharkwerks in Fremont? Just because someone doesn't have a kit currently on offer doesn't mean they wouldn't be interested in getting involved with a project like this.

The fact of the matter is that bending pipes and putting together some sort of "kit" is something a good fabricator can do. The 6 cylinder (EZ30R) powered twin turbo WRX racecar that I am the project manager on is something we did that way. We approached a local fabricator who had done a lot of other work for local racers (some of whom are nationally ranked and known) and told them what we wanted to do. $6000 and 3 months later and we had our parallel twin turbo set up in the car and ready to head to our tuner for a break in tune.
