Yes the Veyron was his idea, he has done some interesting moves behind the scenes as well. Weideking found out the hard way, that taking over VW and making power moves against Piech and VW was a bad thing. His seat on the advisory board was a little more than that, especially since he is the family patriarch for Porsche. Pischetsrieder made the mistake of assuming that he was actually in control and told Piech what to do because he succeeded him. We should ask him how that worked out for him!

I personally like the 918 Spyder and would like to see it in production. I would also love to see a Cayman/ Boxster range topper with if not the GT3 RS engine at least the 408 hp 3.8 out of the Sport Classic.
