"A" Pillar Trim Removal

I would like to remove the driver's side trim piece on my 2007 Cayman S that covers the A pillar and runs back over the side glass to the B pillar. I am trying to find out if there are any access holes in the metal behind the trim for the purposes of performing paintless dent repair on a very small shallow dent near the middle of the A pillar.

Thank you.

HI Phil, you have to remove the pieces in order. To get to this you have to remove the panel on the on the side of the dash board. Do not forget to Only use plastic prybars!

From a parts breakdown, it looks like once the interior trim piece is removed, you are faced with TWO unibody pieces one on top of the other, welded together I am sure. The interior unbody piece most likely has some holes in it, for clips, screws, etc., for various things. The exterior unibody piece may not have any holes, or way to get to the outside sheet metal that has the small dent. If this is the case, repair is impossible, unless a hole is drilled through this outside unibody piece to do paintless dent repair.

It would be helpful if anyone could tell me what access there is on the A-pillar, for any Porsche model. Suspect they are all quite similar.
