wabbit636 is infamous around these parts
Last year, I struggled with the debate of a new CS or a new base 911 and just couldn't justify the extra cost for the 911. I first wanted a 911 (childhood dream) and tried a few of them & bought the CS. At first I regretted the CS when I saw a 911 but now with 8 months of ownership, I have no regret and absolutely love it and prefer it over the 911! Its looks, wow factor & more nimble mid engine road handling are for me better than a base 911. The only thing I prefer more on a base 911 is the extra power but that problem is easily solved.

They are many less Caymans on the road than 911s so to me they are more unique.

I'm fortunate to have both a 911 and a Boxster. I love my 911, but the Boxster's handling is sublime - with its mid-engine layout, it dances around corners like a ballerina. The 911 (in the hands of THIS amateur) feels heavier and I have to work harder to get it close to its handling potential.

All in all, they're both great cars. But if I could only have one, it would be the 911.
