Anyone interested in replacing a CDR with a PCM2 head unit
I just did one last week for my friend and it was way too easy. I met someone selling the PCM's cheaply and he has a few.
Anyways it took about 30 minutes of programming with a PIWIS (Porsche diagnostic computer) Basically went into the gateway and let it know there is a PCM. I am on the hunt for a NAV system for it now. I added the NAVTV Bluetooth interface and the Cayenne XM tuner to it. Everything was pretty much plug and play with the exception of adding some fiber optic cable to it, which I bought locally from a Porsche tech
If there is interest i will do a step by step next week.

.2 is harder because of the enabling codes needed. if you replace the radio without it, it will work for a few days then no more. However the guys at NAVTV figured it out and have a code generator. I haven't tried it yet since I cant find one decently priced
