this was a track prepped (really fast) driven by an instructor. This was really fun.

I though Sebring made you sick? Did you find a remedy?

It did and I had already canceled Sun. but then I read up on it and discovered that alcohol, fatigue and no sleep will enhance the problem. all of which I did the night and week before, in addition to no alcohol and lots of sleep I took sinus pills and ginger root pills. Sat morning was iffy but afternoon was pretty good so I stayed for Sunday and it was terrific, no symptoms of motion sickness at all, I am ecstatic as I feared I would have to give up all this fun

i was watching your approach to turn 17... it looked really smooth. were you treating it like a sweeping right hander? i haven't been back to sebring in my boxster, but in my m3, the instructors had differing opinions on turn 17. some said sweeping right, others said treat it like a double apex.

and glad to hear you got past the nausea.

Thank you for your concern on the nausea issue, I thought it might make me have to stop running.
Turn 17 I have been experimenting with and found that if I treat it like a sweeper I have a faster exiting speed then if I treat it like a double apex. I really don't think there is a right or wrong way, just whatever feels good to you. I would suggest try different ways and keep an eye on your exit speed and that should determine what works best for you. Are you coming Nov 13th and 14th? Hope to see you there.

I was taught 17 as a double apex. But as you can see from all the rubber in that corner, there are as many lines through it as there are drivers.
