Crios exhaust mod :D

I was doing some research on exhaust modification for my 2000 986 2.7 like the Gundo hack on the 997's and came across two for the 986, one being the Pedro Sport Exhaust hack, and the other being the Crios hack. I decided to do the crios one today as it is extremely simple and takes about 5 minutes and it really makes my car sound alot throatier at low rpms. Happy with the outcome

yes, there is one "hack" that simply requires sliding a sleeve over to expose a gap between two pipes that connect the two mufflers... and basically create an exhaust leak... several people remove various amounts of one of the two pipes and slide the sleeve back over as desired.

I did this mod myself on my '07 Cayman S... which sounded bad@$$, but reverted to stock in 4 days...

oh... the sleeve is located right above/behind the tip(s)...

P-car Fan is infamous around these parts
I've had this on my CS for over 6 months and wouldn't go back; I can also verify that it does not hurt performance as I ran the same time in the 1/4 mile before and after the mod

Slid the sleeve over to one side on my 06 CS and it sounds WICKED! I had previously drilled holes instead of cutting like it mentioned on the P9 forums. But slid it over today and really luv the sound. Saved me some ca$h from buying an exhaust
