Michelin PS2

I am on my second set of Michelin PS2's (2006 Box S, 18inch wheels). Everything I have read about these tires is that they are the best but expensive. My experience has been that they are expensive but slick. They do get progressively more slick as the temperature drops but even in the summer here in Texas, they are not grippy.
Am i expecting too much? In a uturn lane under the highway, if I push I just understeer badly. From a standstill I can release the clutch normally and then break the tires loose in 1st gear at will.
My first set did this and I assumed they were dry rotted and just hardened from age. These now have 5k on them and never improved a bit.

Thoughts?

Welcome.

This isn't average. Usually PS2's grip quite well and should not push at low speed. How old are the datestamps on the side? Were they broken in?

Hard to say, but most agree these tires are very grippy. Call me if I can help.

1) Date Stamps
2) Tire Pressure

That's all I've got to say about that...
