Question about IMS and DFI engine ....

Somewhere I thought I read that the DFI engine does not have an IMS, but now I can't find it.

True, or fiction? What else is different (besides the obvious fuel injection)?

IMS problems eliminated! Now on to the DFI carbon buildup on intake valves dilema.

Exactly... although that's the less of 2 evils.
