Motul Oil

Hi guys, I just wanted to know what you think about the Motul 0-40w 8100 X-Max group V Ester Oil.
I friend recomended me this oil, and I can get a good deal on this also. What do you think?
For a 06 boxster S

why?

not sure why the need/desire to not use the Mobil 1 that is OEM...

I'd stick w/ that... only reason I'd change is if the base company managed to pi$$ me off somehow, in which case I go out of my way to avoid their products... (FORD did this to me in my early 30s, and I haven't touched a Ford product since then)

I used Motul 15w60 mixed with 5w40 on my Gtr last summer. I have an oil analysis for Motul which used for 5 track days and 4-5k miles in my Gtr, the result was really good. If ur interested, I can email u the analysis result.
I would use Motul when i have oil change on cayman next time.

I really doubt it. Porsche would have to show that the failure was due to the oil used, and I don't see how that would be possible.

Its just seems Porsche looks for ways not to pay for something that breaks .
If I was to say anything negative about Porsche it would be Warranty Items .Not me personally, I have been lucky ,but I do read about a lot of unhappy Porsche owners when it comes to Porsche Paying for the broken down car under warrenty .They make it a tough fight .not like any other car company I have seen .
