What' wrong with my Porsche?

75mph on the interstate and the red LED on my temperature gauge starts blinking.
Before I can get to the next exit my check engine light (CEL) starts rapidly flashing.
I put it in neutral and coast off to the shoulder and the car shuts off and every light on the dash comes on.
I wait 30 minutes but the car will not turn over again, but it really wants to. It says "vrig-jig-jig-jig-jig-j-j-jig"

Please tell me what's wrong with my Boxcutter? Tell me what to do, I'll do it. I will jack this thing up and pull out whatever you want me to. I will buy parts, I will replace them.

(Please don't tell me I have to replace the engine. I will hunt you down and kill you. haha, just kidding... well not really)

Water pump fails causing overheating resulting in total shutdown. Possible head/engine damage due to overheating.

Hard to say. Could be several things.

If the engine is really not cranking you need to remove the plugs and see if the engine cranks by hand -- slowly! -- to make sure the cylinders are not filled with coolant or oil.

If it is cranking but not firing...

Ah forget the above.

There's too many things to cover to be thorough.

The engine is sick. Sorry but you need to take it to an expert and have the engine's condition ascertained. It may not be that sick but no sick engine ever got any better with someone thinking that just one try with the starter would have everything all better again.

Sincerely,

Macster.

Check coolant level first, then look for water pump leak. Dont DIY, find a shop in your area, and have them properly diag the situ. If you need more than that, call me 252.977.1430, ask for Jay.
Where are you, I could refer you to a local shop.
