negative front windshield banner and Matte black front hood

Installed my new Negative front windshield banner and some Matte black 3m 1080 Di-Noc Matte black front hood vinyl 60x 60 is what you will need to do the Cayman front hood .This project took me 4 hours to do and I have some light experience with vinyl installation. I would say it is a 5 to 6 on a scale of 10 to DIY . I would reccomend using a professional installer if you are not pretty good with these types of products as the 60 x 60 film costs $95.00 shipped and unless you have 2 people it can be a distaster .
The Quality is AWSOME!!! I was getting various small rock chips on my front hood over the lsat 3.5 years so i had to do something and I am really glad I chose to go this route instead of painting the front hood .

I personally love the look and would highly reccomend any fellow 6speeders to seriously take a look at saving your cars original Porsche OEM paint job and covering it with this 3m Vinyl to protect your car!!
What do you guys think ?

Love it. After getting peppered at my last track day I have been seriously considering doing my hood in satin black.

Hood looks painted

Matt black hood is a good look on Porsche products. Porschepet, I have noticed your car before. Are the aerodynamic parts in front of your rear wheels available in the aftermarket? I want to try on my Aston Vantage coupe. If they are soft I should be able to modify them to similar surfaces.

Hi Porschepet,

I'm not sure if you answered my question, but you did quote me. Is that the link where you get your front window decal from? Are the front windows from an 03 boxster S same as your car? if so, do they already have a template for our windows and I can email them to order?
