Checking a Cayman order

I believe the answer is no - but anyone have ability to check an order? I know there is no web way for use surfers .. I ordered a '12 Cayman S Black Edition and the thing has been waiting for boat for about a month. Something does not sound right.

As an FYI - I ordered a '12 Audi S4 Prestige within a week of the Cayman and it came in a week early before Labor day.

I happy to provide an order number.
Thanks!

Only dealers can check it. Once you find the name of the ship it's on, you can track it using marinetraffic.

Thanks for the quick response .. so can any dealer check the order or just the sale dealer?

With the Audi - I was able to get another dealer to check the order.

This dealer is telling me next to nothing and it is very frustrating.

My car was supposedly stuck in the paint shop for a few weeks, I think the system is not really that up to date. I emailed my salesman about every 2 weeks. I don't know if another dealer could look it up. I was told it would take about 4 months from order placement, it was almost exactly that long.

Don't know the answer to your question, but I like your car. How did you spec it out?

ok .. actually received a VIN number today .. guessing I still have a few more weeks .. I just hope it comes before the snow I've never dealt with a dealer before that made me feel like they are doing such a favor for me.
