Bluetooth for 2008 Cayman S
I just bought a 2008 Cayman S and it has navigation and a button for phone that when pressed indicates internal phone not available. I have wasted hours trying to find out how to connect my cell phone to bluetooth. Does the car have that capability so I can stop wasting my time and if not can anything be done?
Please respond, Thanks Jack

The stock nav comes with a button for the phone, but that doesn't mean the car has it. You can check the VIN to see if bluetooth was part of the original options list. Otherwise, your dealer can put in the bluetooth module for $800 or so (maybe cheaper, that's what I was quoted for my 07 Cayman a year ago). Hope this helps!

there is no bluetooth on the gen 1 caymans. You have to put in your sim card into the tray on the left-hand side to get the phone to work. There are lots of aftermarket companies that make bluetooth kits. I have a MoBridge unit with iPod integration. works well, but controlling it through the porsche pcm is a bit awkward.
