Re: July 1st

Got a few problems to take care of.

1) Tires still rub in rear, may have to sell rims

2) Need to install cage, seats steering wheel, short shifter, cage padding, cf hood.

3) May be out of work by then, need to get new job

If all those can be resolved, then sure, I'll be there.

Thanks Gabriel,
The rims are Volk TE37's. They are finished in a gunmetal color (none of the posted pics are true to the color; I haven't got it right yet...). The gunmetal color is an alternative finish from the maker; bronze and white are the standard colors. People have finished them in other colors, I've seen black and silver.

The fronts are 8.5 x 18 and the rears are 10.5 x 18. The rims weighed 17 lb each for the fronts and 19 lb each for the rears. The tires were rather heavy, as the combined tire/wheel combos weighed in at 40 lb for each front(235-40/18) and 50 lb for each rear(285-30/18).

I think I may be selling these as with the car lowered I am experiencing fender lip rubbing on the rears which I may not be able to get rid of. The rims are not stocked by the maker (Ray's Engineering) and usually take 5-6 months to get.

a few problems

Bruinbro,

Do you have your stock set of wheels still ??
-can you get your fender lips rolled... ??
- I often find cheap used factory wheels for sale all over

Don't need a cage, seats, steering wheel, short shifter or cf hood for July 1st- factory rollbar will get ya in !!

Good luck on the career, hope ta see ya there !!

Let me know if I can help
