Soooo..... I bit the bullet and bought the Direct Buy Warranty.
5yr 75k mi (takes me up to 135k mi) for $2380.

As the OP stated... Peace of mind purchased.... Either that or spend the $2k on a kit, new rims, or something else.

I'll definitely let you guys know if anything goes south... Knock on wood....
