What to do with my 2007 Cayman S

I bought my 2007 Cayman S 13K in October I totally love the car but I don't know what to do, I'm really worried with all I've read about the IMS and oil starvation causing blown engines issue, I was planning on keeping the car for ever. What to do. Thanks

keep it... the IMS thing is WAY overblown... if you track it, then there are some upgrades you could do.

I drive mine like I stole it every time i am in it... which is everyday.. :-)

Just got rid of my 06' Cayman S and don't regret it for one minute.
Driving is supposed to be fun. I could never relax in mine after becoming aware of the IMS problems.
My car was trouble free for 16k miles. but not having to deal with my local porsche dealer was another deciding factor in trading it.

Porsches are more reliable and durable than Toyotas. Enjoy the ride and don't worry about it.

Carrara white with Tubi exhaust, extended warranty until October 2014, why you want to buy it.

Why even ask the questions you posed when you have an extended warranty? Drive the car. If it's too much for you, buy a longer warranty.

ive put 40 hard track days on mine on r compound tires. no issues. stay on top of maintenance and the oiling issues can be addressed if you plan to race the car.

I sold my first Cayman with a tick over 50k and it had absolutely ZERO issues. The new owner has put on a few thousand more and hasn't had any issues either. I've put 16k on the Cayman S in a little over 8 months with zero issues. Moral to the story? Just go enjoy the car...

As long as you stay on top of oil changes and maintenance you'll be fine. Sounds like a good car for a TPC Racing Turbo Kit
