Thanks for the welcome guys!

bypro: The Firebird is a totally different animal! But I love the refinement of the Boxster when I drive it and of course all the creature comforts. The bird has no PS or AC. It was a long day when I picked the S up in SD so I took Hwy 5 home. Nonetheless it was a great drive!

Cayman Cab: Alden is a good guy and he runs a nice casual but tight ship from my initial impression.

Congrats on a great choice of nice cars. The Boxster is my personal best for "keeping the longest." Really tells you something bout these mid engined cars!

Congratulations

Great choice for your first Porsche. I too enjoyed owning a Mustang GT 5.0. Lots of fun and nothing sounds like them. My first Porsche was a new 05 Boxster S. I loved it. Later went to an 06 Cayman S. I loved it too, but I so missed the drop top. Enjoy your new car. You won't be disappointed, and I am pretty sure your 5 liter days are behind you.
