I’m just curious how many actual new Boxsters are on order. (and for those that have received them, you can chime in also)

Mine arrived in GA about 2 weeks ago, but it won't be released (according to my FL dealer) until June 30. Being patient. Black on Black on Black with 20" Carerra S wheels paint basalt black.

You said 981 so I'm going to chime in with my CAYMAN order.

Well not an order yet, but I have reserved a spot on the waiting list. When ordering does become a possibility (probably December) I'm #2 on the list. Not sure who's on there before me, but I'll get my slot in the first month of production.

That said, I've heard they'll build the S first and the PDK first so if I opt for a manual, base I'm gonna have to wait a little longer.

 

My 981 S 6sp, loaded built May 9 is still in port at Brunswick Ga. expected at Fl. dealer end of June

Just heard from the dealer (FL). My 981 which has been sitting at a port in Brunswick, GA for the past 3 weeks may actually be shipped to the dealership on Monday, 6/18. Hoping they will get it and release it to me next weekend, but I will still assume that they will hold it until the official US release date of 6/30.

 

Good luck, I hope they release it to you but I wouldn’t hold my breath. Next time I’m in the Tampa area, I’d like to check out that color.
