Black Edition only in black????? Nooooooooo. In all fairness, I think he meant the different colors for R.

As an aside, I LOVE aqua blue on Boxsters and Caymans (especially Spyder & R).

My apologies was not trying to be a Smart *** .. I love the BE .. I've racked up almost 3400 miles in 10 months and could not be happier. I previously had a '09 CTTS as well as a '07 997.1 Turbo ... my only regret is not getting Adaptive Seats .. I had them in my 997.1 Turbo and did not think it was a big deal, but I miss the adjustability .. I do have the sports seat. My DD is a '12 S4 6mt .. I enjoy both, but they could not be any different.

Here, for those who think that I wasn't being quite transparent enough on my description of what I'm looking for.

2012 Cayman S Black Edition
*of course* it will be black
Musts:
Full Leather
Sport Chrono Pkg
Navi (standard I think)
PASM (big must)
6 Speed Manual Transmission (MUST)
Adaptive Sport Seats (preferred)

Cayman R
Colors: Black | White | Silver | Aqua Blue
Interior color: Black
Full Leather
6 speed manual
Sport Chrono Pkg
Sports exhaust is a plus

If anyone knows one that is for sale, I'm trolling everywhere looking for one. Would be greatly appreciated.

I'll keep an eye out for you.

Ohhhh...... Porsche of Main Line (PA) used to have a beautiful black R (new). The only thing I'm unsure of is full leather interior, but might be worth checking out their website or giving 'em a call...

Disclaimer: no relations (but I take my car there for service).

You're in luck!!!

http://main-line.porschedealer.com/n...90757/info.php

I think it's got everything you want, though the seats are manual sport seats (but I didn't see power seats under your R must-haves). Maybe you can do a dealer trade? Good luck!

So..... any update? Bought? Not interested? Negotiating?

I happened to be at the dealer for another matter today (service) and checked out the aforementioned R. I can tell you that it's in great shape and is a thing of true beauty. Sat in it and the full leather is awesome! Never really been into full leather but I can now see why people love 'em.

Turbo II wheels look sick, though they're not as light as Spyder/R wheels (if you care about such). If I wasn't in the process of buying a Spyder I would be very tempted... the only reason I didn't buy it in the past was due to the seats (CF buckets were a must). Well... and the fact that I wanted a Spyder.

Well... no freakin' way... that's a surprise! Both that you're a former local and that you're still pretty young! (not being patronizing) Based on what you posted before I thought you were much older... e.g. "will I still be alive?" RE: GT3.

I used to frequent the main line. I grew up in NE Philly (now pretty much a ghetto). Have moved around quite a bit recently though just within PA. Allentown/Whitehall, Wilkes-Barre (brrrr), Springfield (DE county, not Montgomery), Pittsburgh, Upper Darby (G-fab nowadays...), and now Pottstown.

It def. piqued my interest that you used to ride a gixxer on the track... I really don't ride my bike anymore but should... BTW I downsized after the last high side accident...

Between your toys and age, I guess you're doing pretty well for yourself! BTW, what do you do for a living? (I'm being nosey)

Cheers, and best wishes with your new R (turbo'd)!!!
