Hi all, I just bought my first Boxster last month (2008 base, midnight blue with tan leather interior) and have been an extremely happy customer!! However, I got into a fender bender at FedEx/Kinko's parking lot yesterday with a service vehicle from the local Ford dealership...can't believe he backed his Chevy Silverado right into me!

Any recommendations for good body shops in the Torrance, CA area? Will probably need to replace the hood and front fender, along with the paint job.

Forget Torrance, The best shop hands down is a small place in Inglewood off the 405/Century ( near Randys doughnuts) called Bastolli's. Tell Jimmy Jon sent you...he has a 4s. best painter in Cali.

 

Thanks for the referral! I took it to Bastoli Auto Body and Jim gave me an estimate of $6,770...wow, didn't know a Boxster getting backed into at 2 mph can get that damaged!! However, the dealer's insurance company will only cover $4,100 (they didn't agree to replacing the 2 headlights ).

I got a second estimate at Estorga's Collision Center for $2,700. Will probably get a third tomorrow.

Accidents in a Boxster suck a$$!!
