Starting replacing the starter

Hello all,

I have a 2010 Boxster S with the 3.4L engine at a little over 150k miles. It appears the starter motor is out. However, the metal clamps on the single plenum above the engine connecting to the throttle body I thought were originally Oetiker, but I found one T-30 per holding them on toward the front of the car. Once the metal brackets were removed, underneath, there's a wide rubber strap on each side that still prohibits me from moving the plenum so I can access the starter underneath. What do I do with these straps? Do I leave them and disconnect the throttle body, and I can wiggle the plenum off after I do this?

Also, any special steps on removing the starter motor underneath will also be appreciated!
