Evan,
Great Video. Kudos to the folks in Deutschland for the film. Is this the owner's car? I know that they were going to do a conversion on his first.
I hope that you are using the lessons learned and the programming for the 3.8L coversion you are finishing on my Boxster S. I look forward to getting it back next week. Rhonda tells me that it pulls like a monster!

Hi Bruce,
The base conversion for 355HP runs $25,000. The X51 powerkit runs an extra $2,000 to make the car 381HP!
Hi Dave,
I do believe that is the owner of FVD Switzerland's car, though I am not 100%. Your car does pull very good, I was VERY IMPRESSED.
Napo,
No Problem
Regards,
Evan

I would take a CaymanS OR, for that matter a BoxsterS, over an M3 ANYDAY of the week. I had an '01 M3 and while it is a very good car it is NOT a CaymanS unmodified, modified whatever.
You would never want to be seen in a CaymanS? and what pray tell would be your reason for that? An M3 looks just like any other 3 series Bimmer to 95% of the general public and it weighs a ton. My CS is head and shoulders a stronger better handling car than the M3 I owned.
More importantly, Evan, fantastic job with the car, the video, everything!!!!

I wanted to share the video with you guys though as its pretty well put together! Nothing crazy, but a nice car with some nice Europe scenery in the background! BTW- The other companies on the car are FVD distributors (Fach is FVD Switzerland).

I was at TPC Racing in Jessup, MD a week or so ago trying to determine what the F was wrong with my newly purchased JIC coilovers for my '03 996tt (long story but manufacturer defect) and they were installing turbo(s) on a CaymanS in there. I had no idea you were able to turbo those cars yet. Perhaps they (TPC) are the first? That will be interesting.

Has there been a comprehensive comparrison between x51 vs turbo vs supercharger conversions? I was considering a caymanS for a second car. I'm impressed with the balance and nimble abilities of the caymanS but getting back into my C2s left me with the feeling that the cayman could use a boost of power. If i were to pull the trigger on a used car, which would offer the best acceleration and value?
