Straight Pipes
Anyone running straight pipes on their 987? I just picked up a 987 and was thinking about running straight pipes, but I'm worry about the lack of back pressure....Suggestions and/or opinions?

There is no such thing as a lack of backpressure. Thats old school thinking when a long time ago we thought engines need back pressure. This is simply not true on a NA or Turbo engine, the less back pressure the more HP you make at the top end period, and thats what your putting an exhaust on for.
It will be really loud and will drone inside the car terribly, plus its gonna have a very harsh sound to it. A boxer style engine has a harsh sound to it with a loud exhaust system. THe WRX are the worst for whatever reason, but the Porsche can be pretty bad if you uncork them enough.
