well I know a 305 will fit with no problem... Im sure you can pinch something bigger, but you will be giving up some sidewall strength.

Todd should know what will be your best on what will be the biggest / best size tire/wheel combo for the 987. He tracks his all the time.

What offset do you have for that 11.5" rear wheel? What's the lowest offset with a 11.5" wheel one can go on a lowered Cayman?

im running a 39mm offset and 295/30 stretch tires...

and for a 986 987 i have seen 11" wheels with 305's with a propper offset wheel...

you won't see 11" rears on a 986 unless the rear is modified. There just isn't enough room.

As for the biggest rear on a 10" rim... this may help you decide... http://www.toyo.com/docs/tires/produ...category=sport
