Carbon Ceramic brake questions

Hi all--I'm looking at a used Cayman S that is equipped with PCCB's. I have read extensively about the pros/cons of these, but I still have a couple of unanswered questions.

1) Is it possible to replace the ceramic rotors and pads with steel rotors and compatible pads? I might track the car extensively, and I'd like to be able to select pads based on my preferences for initial bite, ultimate torque, release characteristics.

2) Is there a market for lighly used (meaning well within spec) ceramic rotors, pads, and calipers.

3) With the CCB system, is the booster, master cylinder, valving, etc. the same?

Thanks.

Scott

I believe on the 997 the steel cup car rotors are a direct swap but I do not know if that would mean they would also fit the Cayman although they are supposedly the same.

As far as resale, I would think someone would want them. The only downside is if you sell the car and potential buyers wonder where the factory PCCB's are.
