I had another thread on this topic. I went ahead and called RSP Motorsports in London, ON to see what I could negotiate on an event day for us. The reception to the idea was good and I think we have something to work with after our conversation. RSP seems to have a solid unique facility and a thorough Dyno offering among other tuning items. Please let me know if you would be interested in the proposed day and we can work on timing.

Location - RSP Motorsports
Date - TBD, would need to be Saturday or Sunday
Cost - $150+HST per car if we can get min of 5 cars (Regular price is $225+HST, does not include lunch, video and extra education)

What's Included

Tour of facility and processes
Education session with Q&A on tuning Porsches
Catered lunch, possibly coffee and donuts in the morning

STANDARD DYNO RUN PACKAGE (Performance Test) AWD & 2WD

This package is designed to measure the baseline performance of your car for comparison with manufacturer's specifications, or before and after tuning. This package includes:

- Safety check to prepare car for dyno testing including oil level, tire pressure, and exhaust leak checks.
- Incoming power diagnostics and warm-up.
- Two tests for repeatability.
- A Diagnostic chart in 100RPM Steps including:
- Engine Speed
- Engine HP
- Engine Torque
- Wheel HP
- A Graphic Horsepower and Torque Curve Printout.
- HD Video on DVD
- Customized Folder with Printouts and Pictures

 

That's quite a drive. Nothing in the GTA?

 

There is Magnus Motorsports in Woodbridge, however it seems that the experience and depth at RSP would be better.

 

+1 not sure if im willing to drive that far just to be dissapointed. But im sure you will find 5 people easy. Does teh Rate get cheaper if you get say maybe 10-15-20 People?

 

Yea too bad it's not Magnus, I like them. It was either them or Ultimate-Racing back in the days.

From the RL discussion, it shouldn't be any problem getting 5 people. This dyno meet should automatically warrant a pre-meet party. No?

 

I would think we can get something better on the rate if we get to 10. 10 would be the max that they can get done effectively in a day given the prep they do for each car.

 

Marco @ Magnus is one of the best engine tuners around...his knowledge of engines is extensive.

His shop being in woodbridge is convenience too. London is 2 hours away
