Folks, always have your car towed home instead of a tow yard so that you can take parts off. Tow it home and have the insurance adjuster come to your house to give an assessment.. Once it's deemed totaled, remove your aftermarket parts and replace with stock parts. After you are done, tell them to come tow your vehicle away.

total bummer. sorry to hear. i had a friend that totalled his car and somehow was able to pull the titanium exhaust (his only mod) off of the car. it makes sense that they don't want you plucking off parts.... but still. worth asking!
