Hi,
I don't know where you're getting your information but Automotif has their own CNC mill and lathe machine. They can do rush builds of 1 week which includes design, cutting, and finishing.
They use the HAAS CNC Machine which is around $180k plus the lathe which is $75k. Again, Automotif, they cut everything in house, paint in house, and CF in house.

??? I know the fiasco but why do you automatically assume that? Seems a bit unfair don't you think?

Not really. Look at it from the consumers point of view. The same advertising over multiple forums. Similar location to the aforementioned.
I know from a trusted source, who dealt with a trusted vendor, that when he asked for the weight and load rating for an 18" staggered wheel setup he received the answer of 15 lbs. That weight # is advertised all over the net for a 19 x 8.5. Physics alone will dictate that the larger rear wheel would weigh more.
In regards to the load rating vs weight he got took in the original Forgestar fiasco. So he wanted to see proof. While the vendor tried to comply the company did not; ergo my Jordan comment.

I hear you believe me I appreciate that you're looking out from the consumer. What I'm saying is unfair is that you're already putting Automotif in the same boat as 360forged by comparing Automotif with them.
You can look out for the consumer by asking constructive questions and not automatically assuming the worst; that's all I'm saying.
Believe me, I'm currently working with Automotif to get a set for an M3 and will track them hard to see if these are the real deal.
