Until now ECU tuning for the 955 Cayenne® Turbo has meant the removal of the computer from the vehicle to be sent out for reprogramming - resulting in several days of the vehicle being un-driveable. This is no longer necessary!

FVD-Brombacher’s flash load tool is a user friendly Windows® based software application that provides the ability to read out and load programmed software directly thru the vehicles OBD II port.
FVD-Brombacher supplies the customer with a handheld flash tool, which interfaces directly with the vehicles diagnostic port and our companion flash load software program. Read-out of the vehicles ECU takes place with the click of a button on our handheld device. Then simply plug the device into your computer via a provided USB cable and email the software file to a secure server at FVD-Brombacher Headquarters in Germany.

Our software programmers then extract the file’s data, tune the file and modify the program to suit the customer’s individual needs. Customers are able to express individual tuning requirements when the initial email is sent. So, in short the customer can input performance upgrades already installed on the vehicle and our programmers can adapt software tuning to extract maximum performance gains out of existing vehicle modifications. Whether your vehicle is heavily modified or completely stock, FVD-Brombacher will custom tune our programming to suit individual requirements. While we are able to modify a program based on individual needs, FVD-Brombacher tunes Porsche ECUs with the following modifications in mind:

-Increasing throttle response
-Modifying Ignition Timing
-Optimizing Air and fuel ratios
-Removal of the top speed limiter
-Increasing the rev limiter
-Modification of boost mapping on turbo vehicles

- Accommodates 91-100 octane automatically (adjusts timing and knock sensors).

- Senses air intakes / larger throttle bodies and adjusts air fuel for increased performance.
- Customers can specify left foot braking so that the throttle does not cut out.

these numbers that are shown, are they just produced from JUST the ECU flash or do these numbers include other upgades like catbypass, plenum, exhaust,etc.?

if so what numbers can be expected with or without upgrades?

Those numbers are just the software alone. Here are the numbers for more common upgrades:

Below is what we consider our Level 2 package with secondary bypass pipes, a drop in BMC filter (2) and our sport muffler...

540 HP / 553 lb ft at the crank based on 93 octane.


Level 3 kit...

570 HP / 575 lb ft at the crank based on 93 octane.
