I don't quite want to buy a Hyundai, lol... but I'm just about tired of the Cayenne's "waterboard" seats, they're so uncomfortable. I may go and look at the new ML550.

Uncomfortable? I find them very comfortable- drove 10.5 hours to Dayton, Ohio from 45 min north of NYC and my family never got tired or uncomfortable. That's too bad.

It's a known issue, several threads about it.

The side bolsters are too narrow and too stiff. The seats are designed for little "Euro" boys, lol.

I'm 5'11-180 but each one of my legs rests on TOP of the bolsters, very unpleasant. Some here have had the seats reupholstered to soften the "wings".

I guess I sit like a "Euro boy," but I'm 5'10 170lbs. Of course, now that this is stuck in my head, my seats will probably start to bother me- thanks alot!

the few last comments are

They bothered me in the begining, then I got used to it. For the first few days I thought my car was equipped with sports seats then I found out they were "comfort" seats.

"so many for sale"...

Not really.

Just the other day, My friend who is a dealer and I asked him if he can get me a Cayenne in the 20s at his auctions, and he said flat out 'it won't be worth it for you'..'maybe in the 30s ' ...then i asked him if he can a BMW 3 or 5 Series which are 40-50K new, and he was confident that he can at "20-24K" range..

Partly because there are so many more BMWs than Porsche owners.
