Nice work - question ...

Nice upgrades on your Cayenne. You should consider the 21 inch sport wheels with the Michelin Latitude Sport - they will look amazing. Feel free to contact Jeff Clark at Sunset Imports, if interested ... he has incredible prices, they ship nation-wide, and they are an authorized Porsche dealer in Oregon. I've used Jeff extensively to upgrade my GT3 (great service, extremely helpful).

Question - Your wheel arches look great. Are these the OEM wheel arches for the 2007-2008 model, which are much nicer than the prior model? I am thinking of ordering the newer wheel arches for my 2006 Cayenne TT, but have not been able to confirm with anyone if the newer wheel arches fit on the 1st generation Cayenne. Thanks in advance for any assistance/guidance.

These look great as well; especially in black.

Not a fan of the silver grills or the plastic on the headlights. Wheels look great, I have a slight preference for OEM, but both are great.

Go with the 21" OEM. look way clean and are always worth good money when you go to sell

The 21" OEM wheels look great, think I would get rid of the silver grilles though....

[QUOTE=Captain Tal;1519694]Just got this Cayenne Turbo after trading my Supercharged C4S and I decided to get busy. I still need to decide on my new wheels but I thought I would share some of the progress.

2005 Black/Black Cayenne Turbo
  • I replaced the extra high beam bulb, the cornering light and the fog light bulbs with PIAA bulbs. Very nice add.
  • Added Techart Headlight covers - I wasn't too sure about this at first but I really like them now.
  • Porsche Silver Grill insert - I know some prefer black but I think this really compliments the silver trim and it looks different than most everyone else.
  • Porsche Wheel Arches - Painted black. Not quite as aggressive as other wheel arches but a nice touch.
  • Porsche Sill Trim - Painted Black These are hard to see in the poor pics but they really help form an aggressive stance and lower the posture of the rig.
  • Clear side markers
  • Silver Hood Crest
  • Lowering Links - Nice alternative to $2000 lowering module. Lowered about 1.5"
  • Miltek Exhaust - Deeper throaty sound that has no resonance and puts a smile on my face.
  • Cat Bypass Pipes - same as above
  • EVO Intake - Improved breathing helps with power. A lil noisy but not too bad.
  • GIAC ECU Flash - WOW. uh... yeah. WOW
  • MoBridge iPod integration. - Very cool listening to my iPhone taking calls through my bluetooth headset.
  • Work performed by my friends and Board Sponsors MAXRPM Motorsports
Not much more to do. New wheels will be on by the end of the month. I will replace rotors with cross-drilled when I replace the pads soon.

I love this rig. Of course I miss my screaming highly modified 911 but I needed more space. I got tired of my golf clubs riding in the front seat. This turbo flat out gets up and goes. I havent checked it but I suspect 0-60 in 4.7 which is as fast as my 911 was before I modded it. I think I will be a Cayenne owner for some time to come. More and better pics in the near future when I get the wheels on.

Hey i am interested in getting the lights/ecu upgrades to your car, can you please pm the info? or email me at jctheplaya888@gmail.com. Thanks alot

Any updated pix of the new wheels? BTW, I've been considering doing the GIAC flash on my '05 CTT and was wondering if you'd ever consider giving a fellow CTT owner a seat-of-the-pants demonstration? I'm in Bellevue. PM me if you'd consider it. I have 22" Techarts as well if you haven't purchased wheels yet and wanted to see how they ride on a lowered CTT...
