Congrats! The all black makes the Cayenne so sinister looking.

Would you recommend the front brakes on the '08 vs. the '06?

I live in SoCal as well ... hope to zoom past you some day.

They feel the same to me. The 08 drives better then the 06. But breaking is pretty close to equal.

Thanks. I will be sad to see it go when I get the Scuderia. But I hope to make that look just as good.

Let us know if the PDCC, Brakes(?) etc changes are really worth the price over a low miles 2005 or 2006.

Mine did not have PDCC. I wish it did. There was a grey one that had it. But I would rather have all black and the full glass roof.

Damn. Not trying to bust your chops, but it seems that a pano roof and paint job would cost less to add than pdcc. Plus, pdcc seems to be the only real improvement that could justify the cost. Am I wrong?

Think about trading in when a fully loaded black/black/pano/pdcc comes along/ordering one?

The roof is $3800. So that alone is more then or equal to the PDCC. THe black out option is only a few hundered bucks. To me the Black out and Roof was more important then a grey one with PDCC.

But the question is are "option" prices the equivalent of "after retail install" prices? Just because they list a price for an option, doesn't mean it isn't over or under what the price would be if you ordered the parts alone and then paid for install.

It just amazes me how much the depreciation is on the Cayenne when you compare lightly used to new. It seems to tell us that the Cayenne is overpriced for retail rather than magically super depreciating .... which makes sense to me anyways. And the only thing I have found that seems to possibly get close to justify the higher price so far is the PDCC.

Enjoying the pano at least? Truly noticeable improvement over the sunroof? I think it's the best pano that anybody offers retail or aftermarket.

I just pick up mine last week and drove it all the way back from LA to SF area, it is a great car and good ride, I tried not to burn it during this first 400+ mile trip, I also taped the entire front end with painter's tape to avoid the chips. It's a rare blue with chesnut combo and we love it. Had clear bra and ceramic tint last weekend.
