How close did the ceramic tint match the stock tint? What was the percent transmission (or reduction) did you have installed? Did you tint the windshield as well. I did that to my MB 500E with a very faint tint - the solar reduction (rejection) was substantial.

Tumbler1 is infamous around these parts
The IR reduction is around 70% measured by the thermo BTU meter, the regular metalic film is around 30%, I didn't do the front windshield due to possible interference with the radar detector even the seller told me it won't happen, but I rather be safe then regret.
I will post some pics when the weather gets better around here.

Thanks for the info. I chose to install ceramic film on all of the windows to reduce the IR heat load but the primary reason is that ceramic film, unlike metal-based film, does not interfere with electromagnetic (radio) waves. I too use a radar detector, toll road transponder, and other radio-wave electronics with no problems.
