Cayenne S boosting

Hello guys. I have a '08 Cayenne S and I want to know what kind of performance upgrades I can do, except for ECU, exhaust and intakes. I am in fact interested in adding a turbo charger to this engine. Is it possible? At least a supercharger maybe?

Why didn't you get the Turbo Cayenne ?

For a lot less than you would spend on trying to get the power of the Turbo - you could have gotten a Turbo. If you went with a SuperCharger lets say 20K plus plus plus - you can be in a 08 Turbo for 90K and have the porsche warranty.

The performance upgrades are coming soon from what I have read. They have to change some tuning aspects because of the Direct Injection, etc.

Good luck with your search.

Don't ask me why i didn't get the Turbo because I don't know. When I was at the dealer, I said to myself, "The speed limit is 70, so why buy a turbo?" but now I understand...

LOL - yeah - you are better off selling it than to put that kind of money into it. I haven't seen a market for the Tuners to sell a kit for this SUV yet. Perhaps there are some and someone can chime in.

I have a Turbo already so I went with the CS instead. If it was my only vehicle and it had to be an SUV then it would be the Turbo.

It is an SUV - how fast does it have to go over 70?

Well, I ordered a Maserati Granturismo as well, however this Porsche SUV is the coolest thing ever I think, it's an SUV and pretty quick compared to other SUVs. The only SUV that beats my CS is the Trailblazer SS .

What do you think about ECU upgrade? Is it worth the money? Is it safe? And is there a difference between the ECU flasher companies?

If the only SUV that beats your CS is a trailblazer, you must have some slim pickings for SUV's over there in Turkey. I can think of at least 3 others that can spank a CS.

you must share what you are smoking. The SS or the suped up jeep can only handle a straight pull, put a corner in and the CS beats it.

mudman2 is right, srt8 or SS can only beat CS on a straight drag race, on acceleration after 40mph or cornering, CS beats them all...
