Clutch effort in manual Cayenne

Does anyone in here have a manual cayenne? I have read somewhere that the clutch is stiff. How does the clutch effort of the cayenne compare to that of a 996 or 997? Just want to clarify if the clutch is too heavy on the cayenne. I do not think the 996 clutch is heavy but a bit more effort is needed compared to my BMW. Hope someone here can shed some lights. Planning to order a GTS soon.

i have driven the V6 manual around a bit and the clutch was light imo. the shifter has long throws and is a little soft. it was not like the 996 but it was fun.

in the GTS you will at least get to use 1st gear a little more unless the ratio they put on it caps out too soon.

Thanks for the confirmation. Maybe the writer of that article was used to driving Hondas only. Glad the efforts are comparable to a 996!

the clutch was light and no issues.

Got you. So pedal effort is less than 996 but shift travel is longer. Thanks for the info.
