Yes, I bought the brand new CTT from them.

I am thinking about picking up some dirt for my wife next gardening project...

Unfortunately similar experiences here. I've taken in my 911 Turbo and Cayenne Turbo and been given a Camry. I don't get it as with all my BMW's they always put me in a X5, X3 or 3 series which is at least a respectable car to drive when you take in something that is worth double or triple what those are worth. Porsche needs to re-evaluate how they advise dealers in providing better transportion as loaner vehicles. Naturally I don't necessarily expect another P-car but they should try with something better than the rock bottom offerings.

The dealer I deal with also sells crapy azz Jaguars and one would think they at least offer a couple of those to drive for P-car customers. Apparently I need to "buy" a Jag to get a Jag as a loaner... That's what they told me. So, take a serious step down in car purchase and you get treated better!?! Unbelievable...

They pay for the car. Choice was a pick-up truck or a Pontiac sedan.

I was hoping to get to try a Cayman for a couple of days. I have to think about a graduation present for my kid...

Now that might be too smart of a move for the dealer. Loan out cars that you "demo" to them in the hope that they find an interest. It would certainly get interest of those who come across you driving it even if it was't your cup of tea.

I believe that is why Lexus always uses "new" (under 15k miles) Lexus loaner vehicles.

I guess so.

The Canyon 5 cylinder is a pig of an engine, the 20's called, they want their suspension technology back and you may literally see the truck's fuel gauge come down as you drive.

Does that answer you question?

i'd leave a nice bag of dog **** behind one of the seats..
I had a few stuff I needed to carry to the local recycling...

Last week I brought mine to dealer and they gave me a brand new 2008 Mercedes R350, with 350miles on it. It was a cool car, however, not pushing as hard as my Cayenne S

Due to some problem, the crankcase ventilation system spits oil and the needed part did not make it to HBL today. I am stuck with the Canyon at least till Monday.

On the positive aspect of things, they assured me I will not pay a penny for the loaner...

Maybe it's just to get you to appreciate your Porsche more when you get it back.
