Cool

Mine is a "S". I dont really care for the gemballa wheels but am thinking of putting steering wheel and carbon fiber option. And power kit once the factory warranty is up. I live in Bel Air, so a meeting is possible.

"No R&D is really required on the exhaust other than to see if you like the sound."

I disagree with that. What about determining the % of backpressure and also the composite gauge or thickness which will determine if or how much resonance you will get.

Any decent performance muffler will reduce your backpressure (some folks have even gone with straight pipes behind the cats with good results) and I would suggest going with a polished stainless steel set up with a reasonable guage thickness. Going with a setup that has already been proven is the best way to go. You can learn from what the manufacturers have already done. Use the same mufflers that are already in some kits and the same guage thickness for the pipes and you're all set. Thats why I suggested the Magnaflow mufflers. They're polished stainless steel and have been used in some of the high buck kits. You can have your own set up for somewhere around $500 and it will be virtually the same but you'll have $1,500 to $2,000 left over for some other mods. If you want to pay for a brand name and waste the money, go ahead but this is one upgrade where you don't have to do your own R&D as its already been done for you by the aftermarket exhaust makers. Those big heavy one piece mufflers (both factory and aftermarket) don't provide any benefits over two smaller, lighter mufflers. Do a little homework on your own and save a nice piece of change with the same results.
