Bought at auction Cayenne Turbo S.., have questions??
I just purchased a '04 Cayenne Turbo S. I'm confused though.., did they offer the "S" in '04??
My buddy who owns a dealership here, purchased it from a dealer auction in Nevada about an hour ago for me. I checked the car out through the VIN at the local dealership over there, and everything checked out perfectly. Major service was done at 20K and 38K.. along w/ new brake pads, rotors and sensors. The recalls have also been taken care of.
But I'm still confused.., was their a "S" option in that year of '04? The pictures show Cayenne Turbo S, and so does the printout I recieved.., but I'm still not believing it. I hope so, I'd be psyched.. but my research is telling me otherwise. Thank you!!!!

Wow... I feel like an idiot. So what do you guys think? Its an '04, no problems everything checked out perfect, all recalls done. Bought it for $46K w/ 43,000 miles, Silver/Black interior, nav, etc.
I thought I was getting a steal on a Turbo S version..., but obviously thats not the case. I still like the price, especially for our market here in Seattle. But is it really a good deal, or should I somehow find a way of backing out of the purchase. Its obviously the fault of the auction personnel for not getting it right on their paperwork.

You got a decent deal... But far from the Steal you were imagining I'm afraid.

hahahahah... yeah its definately a turbo. haha.., I'd fly out to Nevada and beat the guy if it wasn't.
For my market here, its actually a real good deal still. Seattle market tends to be different, and since I'm doing a trade in and got a good deal on it... I'm HaPpY!!
But.., these guys should check stuff out before they put a Cayenne Turbo "S" on the purchase report at the auction. And what a deuche bag on the previous owner to throw an S on it.. god I hate that?!?!
I wonder if he's a member here.. its in Nevada..

what can you tell by the leather and the options.. not much of a pic showing things??? What am I missing... I still got time to bail cause it got goofy w/ the whole "s" non "s" thing. Overall, I'm still very happy w/ the price and am committed.

it just looks a lot less impressive to me than normal ones and i've never even seen those wheels before. cars at auction scare me. i feel like if they were in worthwhile condition that the owner would have sold them. i know this is completely unfounded and just opinion but thats my skewed logic.

Yeah I feel yah as well, good point. I personally am not the biggest fan of the interior in the first place.. it has always looked a bit bland to me. I am coming out of a Infiniti FX45... and I like that interior a lot. I think thats the way all the interiors look in the Cayenne... aside from different colors etc. I'm just happy its black leather.
Auctions are different though. I hate them as well. But I did enough research on the car to feel very confident at the moment. It was 1 owner lease return.., and I checked it up at the dealership over their via vin number. I"ll just have to wait and see, should be here in a few weeks I'm told.
