Not an expert by any stretch but, as I understand there is two basic methods of making these wheels. One is by forging and the other is by spin casting. Forged wheels end up with a much stronger and therefore more expensive product. Will all cast wheels fail? Probably not but some will. Will forged wheels fail? Not likely but some of them could fail as well. You just gotta ask yourself "do you feel lucky". When it comes to hauling my family in this monster, give me the OEM or Forged wheels.
